In any case, if your benefits are payed directly into a maintained UK account, you can withdraw cash at any ATM in the world, and put it into a local account.

Dont think you can and if you cant, but go and get your money paid into a UK bank and dont tell DWP, you could find yourself in big trouble. Ask your local benefit office about imported benefits. People who come to the UK from Europe, their country they have just come from pay their benefits
