hi, i%26#039;ve been at stay at home dad for 3 years and now am getting back into work been offered a decent job but need to prove i%26#039;ve been a homemaker while the fine lady of mine earnt the money so i%26#039;ve taken them the tax credits award notices but this isn%26#039;t good enough why i don%26#039;t know so does anyone have any idea%26#039;s on how i could obtain such information many thanks

You could ask HMRC to write a letter confirming you have not been employed for the past 3 yrs. Maybe the employer is concerned that you have been in prison all this time. As previous answerer says, ask them what proof they need.

You should ask them what kind of proof they require, they are the ones who need it after all, they have guidelines to follow.

If they won%26#039;t accept tax credits maybe they just don%26#039;t want to hire you, in which case it doesn%26#039;t matter what you provide.
