My partner and i both work full time and pay childcare costs for our two year son who is in nursery with a minimal amount of financial help from child tax credits
i am hoping to get pregnant this year and was concerned about how we would pay the mortgage when i am on maternity leave as my income would go down by 鎷?000 to 鎷?00 per month.
my partner earns less than me so it would mean we couldnt pay our mortgage for 6 months
would we be entitled to help from the government ie income support?
Income support?
possibly. Give them a call.
Income support?
You really need professional advice on this by contacting the Department of Social Security (DSS). I think you will find that as a couple, the government states that you need 鎷?13 per week to live on, so if your income is above this you may not be entitled for Income Support, but there maybe a different benefit that you qualify for. Check with the DSS for an accurate answer.
Income support?
no, they will never help u with loans. u may ask in a bank to pay just interest on loan for the period u re not working. it means your loan will be extended for as many years as u payed only interest. i know my husband is a banker and he did that when he was getting divorced with his wife. goverment help does not count any loans payment. they will tell u u an%26#039;t pay loan sell the house.
Income support?
No, you would not be entitled to income support, but you would likely receive more Tax Credits. My advice to you would be to use a Tax credits calculator online to get some idea of what you would be receiving if you had another child/lower income. Also start putting money aside now for when you are on leave.
Income support?
the only help you will get is your tax credits will increase, but you will not get income support while your partner is working
Income support?
You would not be entitled to income support however you may be able to get more tax credits I would get into contact with your local citizens advice bureau.
