I don%26#039;t know whether I should pay of my medical bills, there is one medical bill that is in collections for 400.00. I%26#039;m not sure if i should pay that off or should I put a big amount on my credit card that has a balance of around 2,300. I had did a tranfer balance on that card. since September of 07, and have a year to pay of balance with 0 interest, after that it goes to 10%. and so far I only paid 275.00 dollars. Do you think I should just pay the whole thing off.

As far as I know if you have a bill in collection they will take your refund, so I don%26#039;t think you have a choice, at least not in the U.S.

Why don%26#039;t you pay the $400.00 in collections before it reaks havoc on your credit score and apply the rest to your credit card. You have 7 months left of 0% interest, just start throwing as much as you can towards that and even if you don%26#039;t get the balance ALL the way down at least it will be 10% on a much smaller amount.
